Lemmy loves his cuddles as much as the walks. He is great with people and enjoys all the attention he can get. He is not keen on cats and absolutely adores chasing birds on the beach. I walk him for 40-50 min every day and I give him a much longer walk at weekends as our garden is tiny. Giving him necessary exercise would be much easier provided he had a garden to run around in. He is house-trained and mostly kept inside. Even though he doesn't mind being left in the garden, after a while he'll start trying to get attention and get back inside. He doesn't bark however. He'll just stare at us through the back door :) He always sleeps inside. As for socialising with other dogs, he is usually fine, but sometimes likes to prove that he is the boss.He doesn't start fights, however. To be honest I think it just depends on the mood Lemmy is in and whether him and the other dog hit if off :). His breed are known for sensitive stomachs, so he can't be fed any other meat besides chicken and can't really handle any treats or bones. He is therefore on a simple diet of dry food (Red Mills Engage Duck and Rice) which works out at €40 for a 15kg bag. This lasts him at least for two months. I also tend to add some boiled chicken or olive oil to it to keep it more interesting. If he eats anything else, including dinner leftovers, he gets acid in his stomach and it makes him vomit. Lemmy is not used to children being around, but I have never had any problems on the beach or while walking him. As for his health, he is a seven-year-old happy, strong dog who loves swimming and exercise and hasn't had any serious issues until now. He is happiest fetching a ball, swimming and watching movies that feature any kinds of animals. It breaks my heart that I need to rehome him but knowing that somebody will love him as much as I do makes it a little easier. If interested, please text or email, as I'm unable to answer my phone during the day.
